The Smolensk State Medical University is constructed in a campus system i.e. educational buildings, library, mess, hostels, sport complexes, play ground, cultural complexes and park are situated in one campus. The Smolensk State Medical University has its own security surveillance system with its own commando guards for the safety of its students and campus.

Minimum Qualification for Admission :

1. He/She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before the 31st of December, of the year of admission to the MBBS course
2. He/She must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in clause (2) of regulation 4.
3. He/She must pass the exam NEET held in India in the year of admission to the MBBS course.

This applies for the students who are taking admission in year 2022.
Student should be of Indian origin.
Student has taken admission in Smolensk State Medical University, Smolensk, Russia. Educational Consultants.
Student has taken admission in Medical faculty of Smolensk State Medical University, Smolensk, Russia for his graduation and not for any other courses.
Student has taken admission from first year of Medical faculty of Smolensk State Medical University, Smolensk, Russia for his graduation and has not been transferred from any other medical institution.
This scholarship will be granted to one student in every year of education who will get best grades* in examinations of all subjects during both semesters of that year. If there are two or more students get best grades*, then both the scholarships will be divided equally between those students.

* The marking system in Russian educational institutions is of grade type. There are four grades - "5" "4" "3" and “2” where “5” stands for 'Excellent', “4” stands for 'Good', “3” stands for 'Satisfactory' and “2” stands for 'Fail'
